Forcing himself
The sound was unsettling, and it seemed to come from somewhere below him. “The kitchen, maybe?” Will knew he had to check out the source of the sound; he wouldn’t be able to sleep otherwise. But in his heart, he knew he did not want to face whatever was doing this downstairs. Still, he forced himself to go.
