Marcus had an idea. “Let’s turn down this side street,” he murmured. “If he follows us there, we’ll know for certain that this is the man following you, and not just a random guy.” They turned the corner, walked halfway down the narrow lane, then stopped and waited in the dark, watching the street behind them.
