Out of nowhere, an elderly man slowly stepped forward from the crowd. He wore a faded hat and moved toward the edge of the enclosure. His eyes were fixed on the elephant with an odd intensity, and after a few minutes, the crowd began to notice it too. Then, without a word, he began climbing the barrier.
