Lingering feeling
In the end, there wasn’t anything specific Milo tried to get. After about 10 minutes of strangely stepping around, he just stopped and returned to being an innocent puppy, playing with his own tail. But that first odd moment stuck with Clair for the remainder of the day. And it wouldn’t be the last strange moment.
