The calls kept coming, one right after another, refusing to give up. Mike sat up in bed, his irritation slowly turning into unease. Whoever this was, they were absolutely determined to reach him tonight. After nearly a dozen rings, his curiosity and worry finally got the better of him. He answered the call.
