A Difficult Choice
Bruno looked at Rosa, then at the puppies, his expression thoughtful and almost sad. He seemed to understand that the little dog belonged with them. After one final glance, he carefully lowered the puppy onto the ground beside him. Rosa felt a wave of hope rise in her chest as she watched him make the difficult choice.
