The sanctuary staff introduced Marlow into a carefully prepared habitat designed around his needs. Rocks, caves, seawater circulation, and low lighting recreated conditions similar to his natural environment. The salamander explored cautiously before settling into his new home. The transition appeared remarkably smooth.
