The reunion
Owen carried the cubs over to the transport area himself, with Milly walking close beside him. He set them down gently a safe distance away from where the lioness was being held in a secure enclosure. The moment the cubs caught the scent of their mother, they erupted in excited little roars. The lioness responded immediately.
