To Owen’s surprise, the boldest of the three cubs got up and walked over to him. She sniffed his hand carefully, then pressed her tiny head against his palm. Owen felt his heart melt, and then gently scratched behind her ears. The cub closed her eyes and started purring loudly. “This is insane.”
