A long night

Linda did not sleep well that night. She could hear soft sounds throughout the house. Faint splashing from the basement. Occasional thumps as frogs moved between rooms. She kept the lights on in her bedroom and watched the door nervously. But none of the frogs ever approached her or showed any signs of aggression at all.
