Who are these people?
She studied the faces in the photographs. They were strangers to her, ordinary looking people of all ages. But the way they were displayed felt deeply disturbing. Some photos were circled in red ink. Others had been crossed out completely. Elena couldn’t understand what connected these people or why someone was tracking them this way.
