Taking the bait
The fox sniffed the air carefully and stepped slowly toward the small piece of chicken on the lawn. It picked the meat up in its small mouth and chewed it eagerly. Then it looked back up at Mark, almost as if asking politely for more. Mark threw another piece a little closer to himself.
