A soft voice
“Hey there, little one,” Mark whispered very softly across the lawn. “Where on earth did you come from?” The fox flicked its bright blue ears at the sound of his calm gentle voice. It seemed almost curious about him, which was even stranger behavior for a truly wild animal living in these deep woods.
