More tourists
Tourists began booking trips on the Silver Heron in greater numbers than ever before. Many of them hoped to see the famous crocodile, though nobody ever spotted it again in those same waters. Mara didn’t mind that at all. She liked to think the big animal had moved on to watch elsewhere.
