Still locked tight
Walter’s old metal locker was still completely locked shut with his personal padlock attached to the front. That was extremely unusual, since Walter should have removed his lock when clearing out his belongings earlier. Doyle stared at the closed locker for a long moment, feeling an impatient irritation rush over him.
