A bit confused, Linda continued to observe Dali’s new spare-time activity. It seemed that Dali was completely focused on his stone stacking.

He ignored the other elephants and even refused to eat during feeding time. Instead, he just picked up stone after stone to eventually place them on a pile in the corner of the enclosure.
