When Luke reached the fencing of Cornet’s field, he instantly noticed that something was wrong.

Normally, he saw Cornet grazing somewhere on some grass the moment he got there, but the small piece of land appeared empty. And not just that. The gate to Cornet’s enclosure was somehow opened.
